Applications:
Tinograd TT is non-discoloring, odorless, tasteless and of low volatility. The product can be used in combination with other phenolic or non-phenolic antioxidants. In general its effectiveness is enhanced by using in combination with chelating agents (e.g. EDTA, NTA, citric acid, phosphoric acid, ascorbic acid, ascorbyl palmitate, lecithin).
Moreover, product protection against photo-deterioration is enhanced by using antioxidants in combination with UV-absorbers. Tinograd TT can be added to the oil, perfume or organic phase of personal care formulations. Because of its insolubility in water a sufficient amount of solubilizing compound is needed in aqueous formulations to avoid precipitation. 0.01 to 0.1% of Tinograd TT typically provides long-term stability to home and personal care formulations.
